“Raven requires a newer version of Java”
Description
The follow error dialog appears when you attempt to run the Raven installer.
Solution
You have an outdated version of Raven. Please consider installing the latest release.
Raven Pro 1.5 (deprecated) and Raven Lite 2.0 (deprecated)
This error dialog mostly commonly results from attempting to install 64-bit Raven with 32-bit Java in Windows. Go back to Java Downloads for All Operating Systems and click on “Windows Offline (64-bit)” to install the correct version of Java 8.
