Raven Recorder sample rate capped at 96 kHz

Introduction

Some recordists studying ultrasonic vocalizations have observed that they cannot set the sample rate in Raven Recorder above 96 kHz.

Solution

While the developers are working to fix this problem, you can work around it by installing Raven Pro 1.5 build 21 BETA. Here is how:

1. Install Java 8. Assuming you have a 64-bit Windows system you will want to version labelled “Windows Offline (64-bit)”.https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
2. Install the Raven Pro 1.5 build 21 BETA version suitable to your operating system.
